2008 Baby Season

We had a very busy summer and fall with a total of  22 babies born on the ranch.  14 of those were Tahoe Breeze babies. 6 girls and 8 boys.   Two of the babies were from our own Pogonip who we used for the first time.  He had one boy and one girl.  Both are beautiful alpacas so he stays in the breeding program.  The boy has the softest fleece we’ve ever seen.  Four of the baby boys are already spoken for, (including Pogonip’s) so before they leave we figured we’d better get some good pictures!

We wrapped up the 2008 breeding season at the end of October. 
The boys did a great job, which included Falcon, Ares, Pogonip, Kip, Domingo, Chester, visiting stud Juan Pablo, and from Lazy K Ranch, Magic Man and Grand Moreno.  We can’t wait to see what will arrive in 2009!
